80 players attended our meeting at Kloof Country club. The course was in excellent condition and the great news is that we had no no-show. Well done guys, lets keep it up. Well done to Alan Green in taking the challenge and handling prize giving. Congratulations to all our winners.

The Wild Coast game is a great opportunity to invite visitors and arrange your own four ball. This game is on the 25th October 2011. A mini bus has been confirmed and booking is essential to confirm your seat.
Well done to all our Milworth winners so far. All un-played games to be completed by the 20th July.
NATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Thanks to the team that represented KZN at the national tournament. Free State were the winners and we were 4th. All was not lost at the nationals; the challenge between Natal and Gauteng for the famous Grouse Trophy was won by Natal
Thanks to our fines master, Joe Brown. Well-done mate, great job.

Our game at Umhlali, all though only 72 players, was most enjoyable and we thank Umhlali Country Club for their hospitality. Hopefully the smaller field was due to all the public holidays we had at the end of April and beginning of May and we can expect larger fields from now on!
The second round of the Milworth will be played at Kloof Country Club on the Tuesday 07 June and the draw is also attached to this email. The players for the main event are printed in red and the plate event in blue. Please ensure that I have all the results correct and if not let me know asap.
Jenny has been in hospital and I am pleased to tell you she is home and getting better – hopefully she will be at Kloof.
We welcome Mark Munstermann as a new member at Kloof. Mark is with Whitfield’s Air Conditioning Supplies and was proposed by Kevin Archer and seconded by Howard Hutchinson. Welcome to Qaccs we hope you enjoy the experience.
Attached to this mail is the entry for the Wild Coast Special Event to be played on Tuesday 25 October. We will be organizing a 14-seater bus for this day and the cost will be in the region of +/- R 125.00 per person depending on the numbers.
2010 Fines money beneficiary:
If any member has a “favorite” charity that they would like us to consider for the 2010 fines money (R21,000.00) please drop me an email for consideration by the committee.
Last but not least we wish our Nationals Team al the best and “Bring back the Trophy”

Hi everyone,
Our game at Mount Edgecombe was a success and congratulations go to Jim Kayser,
Ian Crafford, Martyn Heaton & Brett Geyer with 90 pts.
As always we thank our sponsors on the day and a special mention of Ray Emond who not only sponsors but also collects the “Flatties” every month and delivers them to the club kitchen. If he is not available for the game he makes arrangements for the “Flatties” to be collected. Thank You Ray, much appreciated.
To our Fines Master at Mount Edgecombe, Doug Stephenson, what can we say – he collected over R2000.00. Obviously Doug is not to be ignored, insulted, over-looked or irritated. Thanks Doug – great fines session.
Subscriptions were due in December 2010; if you haven’t paid yet please make every effort to pay at Royal Durban on the 03 March.
Wild Coast Trip: This has been booked for Tuesday 25th October, please diarise. I am busy looking into a 14seater kombi for this day. We will need a driver for the bus and we also need to know who is interested in going by bus and if a 14seater is large enough. More details to follow
Milworth Trophy 2011: Entry forms are out and entries are coming in SLOWLY, if it is your intention to play please let me know I only have 10 entries to date.
We say “Good Bye” to Udo Kuhlhoff, Greg Payne and Peter MacNaugton who have all resigned. Udo has relocated to Gauteng (just when Jenny remembered how to spell his name!).
Suspensive membership has been granted to Daryl Guy, Brad Trevethan and Harry Mayhew.
National Tournament: We have 25 entries for the Nationals in Parys and the balance of payment is due at the end of February – be ready for an email from our Vice Captain/Treasurer!!
We had a request for a QACCS sleeveless jacket, a sample will be available at Royal Durban @ +/- R 220.00. If you are interested please let me have your order.
Royal Durban Golf Club & Festival of Golf: As you can see the majority of members are playing in the Royal Festival of Golf. (names in red)
The format for both the Qaccs game and the FOG game is Betterball Stableford.
You will be given 2 score cards, one to be handed in to Ricky (Qaccs) and one to be handed in to Misty Gallocher (FOG). Obviously the scores will be the same, but I think this will help in making the scoring a smoother operation.

Hi everyone
Compliments of the season to you and your family, lets hope 2011 will treat us all well. Our target for this year is to have at least 100 players per game. We had a fantastic 2010 year end game. Once again I would like to thank the committee for their support and hard work during the course of the year. A special thank you to Helen, for all her input and support during the course of the year. To our fellow qaccers thank you for your support and we look forward for your continued support in 2011. The decisions we make this year must assist in the club going forward. It’s sometimes hard to please everyone, but this year lets make decisions on what the majority decides. At the end of the day, it’s not about an individual, but making our club the best. Please feel free to send your suggestion so we can discuss it in our committee meeting.
Remember we cannot run this without your subs being paid, so take advantage of discounts that can be achieved by paying before the cut of dates. For this info information please contact to Helen.
Milworth cup, find a partner and let’s see who are going to be champions this year.
Finally, for the nationals we still need to make up a team of at least 30 players. Helen will send an email of the players that have already booked. Let’s win the nationals away from home.
There is not much to report about, see you at Mt Edgecombe 1 on the 1st of February.
